The Federal Government on Saturday confirmed 10 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) in the country.

The confirmation was made on the official Twitter handle of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, @NCDCgov.

According to the tweet, Nigeria has confirmed 10 new cases of COVID19.

Of the 10 new cases, 3 are in the Federal Capital Territory and 7 are in Lagos

9 out of the 10 cases have travel history outside Nigeria in the last one week. The 10th case is a close contact of a confirmed case

This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 22.

The NCDC said three out of the new cases are in the Federal Capital Territory and seven are in Lagos.

Out of these, nine have travel history outside Nigeria in the last one week.

The 10th case is a close contact of a confirmed case.
