UNLEASH Your Talents became a statewide project as Season V came to a colourful end

The date, 21st of August will for a long time remain a remarkable date to relish for many who witnessed the happy ending of the Season V edition of the annual grassroots talents exposition.

This is evident as the date ushered in various exciting experiences which includes official declaration of the project UNLEASH Your Talents as a statewide project from the Season VI. Also to relish the memory of the day were the lucky finalists who exhibited their special abilities in Music, Dance, Comedy, and Modelling to the admiration of their fans, friends, and family. To cap it all, the event recorded the endorsement of the project UNLEASH Your Talents by Honourable Commissioner for Lagos State Youth & Social Development, Pharm. Uzamat Akinbile-Yusuf who was ably represented by Mr. Saka Abdul as Special Guest of Honour.

It was indeed a show filled with intense emotion for the 22 outstanding talents who finally made it to the Grand finale after rigorous processes which included 2-stage Auditions, ONLINE voting, Camping, Trainings and eviction as families, friends and fans formed the large audience that turned out at the event to encourage them.

Inspite of the drizzling sky, the event which experienced a tremendous delay before kickstarting became a charging atmosphere when the exceptional talents discovered from the heart of Ikorodu started entertaining the guests.

Adding beauty to the classic packaging of the Purple and Gold themed event was the glamour carpet which had the emblem of the project #UNLEASHSeasonV emblazoned on the floor. The traditional ambience of the hall had the touch of classic decorations from the stables of Blessing Erivona’s Beeth Concepts  with powerful music sound supplied by the official DJ for UNLEASH Your Talents, DJ Tonyz Da Blastmaster.

The event had in attendance personalities like Alhaja (Mrs) Olufunmi Oshinowo-Bashorun, a frontline National Chieftain of APC, as Mother of the day; while the Chief Host, Hon. Babajimi Benson, MHR, was ably represented by the DG of Icare Foundation, Mayor Deen Sanwoola, MD, Sometin Else Fun Centre who also doubled as the Guest Speaker.

Also in attendance at the commemorative event where some brands and personalities were presented UNLEASH Appreciation awards were Mr. Azuh Arinze, Publisher of YES International Magazine, Prince Gbolahan, MD, Dukadan Ltd, Miss Personality Nigeria, Queen Roselyn Johnson with her family; Miss Little face Tourism 2016, Queen Sandra Ike and a host of others. The professional entertainments catalysts at the occasion were DJ Roland of Eko FM, DJ Colorado (Vice President, DJAN), Arewa, Hilary Jackson.

Notable amongst the awards recipients are Mr. Azuh Arinze, Publisher of YES International Magazine, Airtel Nigeria, Encomium Magazine, Kunle Adelabu, Publisher of The Impact Newspaper, G & M Dry Cleaners and a couple of others.

The Judges for this edition which was successfully coordinated by Princess Aderoju Ladega were Mike Odiaka of Legendary Gold; Ojo Martins, Proprietor, Nigerian Comedy Club; Richy Young Manny; and delectable Presenter, Oluwakemi Arewa.

The Small Chops sponsors for this year edition is Eroz Place, while the Official catering partner is Blessing Erivona owned Beeths Concepts while the iconic Intercontinental Distillers Ltd treated all guests to varieties of refreshing drinks like Veleta Wine, Action Bitters, and Derok.
